Irvine, CA – The University of California, Irvine (UCI) announce that the Master of Engineering Capstone Project, sponsored by Matregenix, Inc., has been awarded the prestigious Dean's Top Choice Award at the UCI Capstone Showcase held on June 12, 2023. The project, which aimed to develop a groundbreaking nanofiber wound care device, showcased the innovative potential of nanofiber solutions and collaborative effort between academia and industry leaders in engineering.
Over a six-month period, the student team worked closely with Matregenix, Inc., receiving technical support and industry insight.
